María José Martínez debuta con victoria ante la húngara Szavay

Redacción deportes, 5 nov (EFE).- La española María José Martínez se adjudicó la victoria ante la húngara Anges Szavay, por 4-6, 6-4 y 6-0, en la primera jornada del Torneo de Campeonas que se disputa en Bali (Indonesia), dentro del grupo B.

El juego resultó muy igualado en los dos primeros sets, pero en el tercero y definitivo, María José Martínez endosó un 6-0 a la tenista húngara. El partido casi llegó a las dos horas de duración.

Mañana la tenista española jugará contra la australiana Samantha Stosur y la vencedora se habrá hecho acreedora de un puesto en las semifinales del torneo que está dotado con 600.000 dólares. EFE
