Yomiuri Giants ganan título del béisbol japonés

TOKIO (AP) - El catcher Shinnosuke Abe remolcó la carrera del triunfo y los Yomiuri Giants derrotaron el sábado 2-0 a los Nippon Ham Fighters para ganar en seis partidos la serie final del béisbol japonés.

Abe bateó un doble por el jardín central y puso a Yomiuri en ventaja de 1-0 en el segundo inning del partido disputado en el Sapporo Dome. Testuya Matsumoto impusó la otra carrera con un sencillo en el sexto capítulo.

Los Giants ganaron su primer título del béisbol japónes en los siete últimos años.
